InceptionLRT November Recap: From DevCon to a $500k Bug Bounty Campaign

November was another landmark month for InceptionLRT as we rolled out major updates, expanded our integrations, and engaged with the community at some of the biggest events in DeFi. Product Updates

This month brought significant updates to our product, designed to improve flexibility, accessibility, and usability for all users.

InceptionLRT Now Live on Fraxtal

One of this month’s key highlights was InceptionLRT’s expansion to Fraxtal, enabling new opportunities for our users.

Users can now bridge insfrxETH and insFRAX to Fraxtal, taking advantage of our DeFi integrations there. New dApp UI/UX

To improve the overall user experience, we rolled out a complete redesign of our dApp interface. The updated design now includes:

• Lite Mode: A simplified, intuitive experience for users who prefer straightforward restaking options.
• Advanced Mode: A detailed view tailored for power users who want greater customization and in-depth analytics.

Platform Enhancements

Beyond the product, we’ve also focused on strengthening the platform to support the growing needs of our users.

New Landing Page UI

We unveiled a redesigned landing page this month, offering a clearer, more user-friendly overview of our features and ecosystem. The new design ensures users can easily navigate to key sections, understand our offerings, and get started with restaking in just a few clicks.

Bug Bounty Campaign

Security is a cornerstone of everything we build. To reinforce this, we launched a Bug Bounty Campaign in collaboration with Hacken, inviting developers and security researchers to help us identify and address potential vulnerabilities.

DeFi Integrations

November also saw the addition of new DeFi integrations, further expanding the utility of Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRTs):

• insFRAX/sFRAX Curve Pool: A new liquidity pool on Curve, providing opportunities for Fraxtal ecosystem participants to earn rewards on their stablecoin-backed LRTs.
• Ionic insfrxETH Lending: Users can now use insfrxETH as collateral on Ionic, unlocking borrowing and additional earning opportunities. These integrations are part of our broader strategy to create a more interconnected and rewarding DeFi ecosystem for our users.

Event Highlights

November was an action-packed month for InceptionLRT, as we participated in major industry events and shared our vision for the future of liquid restaking with the DeFi community.

The Staking Summit (Nov 8-9):

The month kicked off with the Staking Summit by Staking Rewards (Nov 8-9), where we dropped significant updates about our roadmap and future plans. The summit provided an excellent platform to engage with staking and restaking enthusiasts and showcase our modular approach to restaking.

DeFi World 2023 (11 Nov)

Following the Staking Summit, we participated in DeFi World 2024 (Nov 11), where we connected with leading DeFi innovators and explored emerging trends. This event allowed us to highlight InceptionLRT’s contributions to building a more flexible and interconnected DeFi ecosystem.

DevCon (Nov 12-15):

Next, we headed to DevCon (Nov 12-15), November's central hub for everyone building in DeFi. In addition to attending various insightful sessions, we actively participated in **Staking Circle’s side event: ReDeFining Bitcoin: The Future of BTCfi*, where our leadership team made valuable contributions across two panels:

• Exploring DeFi Strategies with Bitcoin: João Simões, our CEO, shared his insights on BTC restaking and its potential to unlock new opportunities in DeFi. You can watch the panel discussion here
• Preparing the Next Cycle: Filipe Gonçalves, our COO, joined the panel to discuss what’s next for DeFi and how modular infrastructure will play a key role in shaping the upcoming market cycle. The panel is available for viewing here

These events not only allowed us to connect with the broader DeFi community but also provided an opportunity to gather feedback, refine our vision, and continue positioning InceptionLRT as a leader in the liquid restaking space.

Our CEO, João Simões, also shared his insights across various platforms this month:

Our efforts to expand Omnichain Restaking will continue, making it even easier to restake from wherever suits you best. Additionally, our Totem system is set to take on greater significance in the near future, unlocking new possibilities for our loyal community members.
