InceptionLRT 2024 Recap: $120M in TVL, 10+ Chains, and a Year of Growth

As we wrap up 2024, it’s a perfect time to take stock of everything we’ve achieved at InceptionLRT.

This year has been about building, refining, and expanding—laying the foundation for a more robust and accessible restaking landscape. From launching new modules to forging strategic partnerships and enhancing our user experience, every milestone has brought us closer to our vision.

Here’s a look at the key moments that shaped 2024 and set the stage for what’s ahead:

Mainnet Launch with Comprehensive LST Support

2024 kicked off with a major milestone: the launch Mainnet on Ethereum, built directly on EigenLayer in early February. This milestone set the stage for everything that followed, introducing solutions that reshaped how users approach restaking.

Isolated LRTs: Designed for Minimal Risk

Our Isolated LRT solutions enable users to restake their assets without exposing their holdings to systemic risk. Each LST on EigenLayer - from Lidos stETH to Coinbase’s cbETH and others - has its own dedicated Liquid Restaking Token. This design ensures that risks associated with one token remain segregated, offering a tailored and secure approach to restaking.

Native ETH LRT: A Partnership with GenesisLRT

Shortly after our Isolated LRTs launch, we introduced the Native ETH Liquid Restaking Token (LRT) through a strategic merger with GenesisLRT. This collaboration allowed us to expand our offerings, becoming the only protocol on EigenLayer to support both native ETH restaking and all 12 EigenLayer-supported LSTs. This integration provided users with the ability to access all restaking possibilities under one platform.

Expanding our Reach: Omnichain Capabilities & Integrations

This year, we onboarded 57 new DeFi integrations and expanded InceptionLRT’s reach to 10 additional Layer 2s. Through our xERC-20 bridge, users are now able to move Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRTs) across multiple networks and utilize integrated protocols for lending, yield, and liquidity provisioning.

By enabling LRTs to operate seamlessly on 10 chains, users now have greater flexibility to diversify their strategies and access a broader range of reward opportunities, further enhancing the utility of their assets.

Creation of the Flash Unstake Module

Another highlight of the year was the launch of our built-in Flash Unstake module, a feature that allows users to access their restaked position instantly. By allowing the conversion of Liquid Restaking Tokens (LRTs) directly back into their original asset or ETH in seconds, Flash Unstakes provides users the possibility to bypass traditional withdrawal delays, such as EigenLayer’s 7-day unbinding period.

The module uses a dedicated liquidity pool and a dynamic fee structure to maintain sustainability. Fees adjust based on demand, ensuring cost-effective transactions during normal usage and stability during high demand. This scalable design makes Flash Unstake a reliable, user-friendly solution that improves confidence in our protocol. Unlike other protocols that lacked withdrawal functionalities at launch, InceptionLRT has provided unstaking services since day one. With Flash Unstake layered on top, we’ve set a new benchmark in the industry, offering the most Liquid LRTs in the market.

Redesigned UI for an Intuitive Restaking Experience

Coming to the end of the year, and following users' feedback, we revamped our dApp to simplify and enhance the oftentimes complex restaking experience for all users. The update introduces two modes: Lite Mode for a streamlined, beginner-friendly experience, and Advanced Mode for full control with detailed filters, customizable options, and statistics.

New features like Smart Routing make it easier than ever to convert any asset into your preferred Liquid Restaking Token (LRT) in one seamless step. Enhanced tabs for DeFi integrations and bridging now offer clearer navigation and expanded filters, making complex tasks simpler and more accessible.

InceptionLRTs Old vs New UI

Merger with Amphor Protocol

As the year came to a close, InceptionLRT merged with Amphor Protocol, marking a pivotal step toward creating a more unified and efficient restaking ecosystem. Amphor Protocol, with its track record of securing over $222M in economic value and pioneering yield aggregation strategies, brought a wealth of expertise to this partnership. Known for its curated vaults and innovative frameworks, Amphor’s focus on precision and optimization perfectly complements InceptionLRT’s vision for the future of restaking.

Post-merger, InceptionLRT has evolved into a platform centered around curator-centric framework and MetaLRTs, enabling users to access streamlined, decentralized restaking opportunities. Together, we plan to lay the groundwork for a more cohesive and accessible ecosystem - one where efficiency and innovation drive the next phase of Restaking in DeFi.

Expansion to Symbiotic with inwstETHs Multi-Curated LRT

To wrap up our year, we took another step towards modular restaking solutions with the launch of inwstETHs, our first Mulit-Curated LRT on Symbiotic. Designed to provide wstETH holders with greater liquidity and reward exposure, inwstETHs now boasts over $48M in Total Locked Value (TVL).

Symbiotic, known for its flexible vault-based design, enables staking tailored to specific strategies and risk-profiles. By leveraging this solution, inwstETHs connects users to curated strategies delivered by industry-leading entities, delivering optimal economic security allocation and reward potential.
